I did the Open for the first Friday evening. I’ve had 1 workout at the gym/box and prior to that 30 days at home to prepare for Rugged Maniac…that was in Oct. 2018. But I do jog 5 days a week. I did scaled version for 45-49 Masters and I made it to the start of 5th round got 20 DB’S then time ran out. Proud that I completed 185 of 225 reps. Feel slightly sore. I squatted for the snatches to prevent my back from getting sore. KEEP UP GREAT EVERYONE!
I have been doing Crossfit for 5 months. This is my first open. I will be scaling it, women 45 + (I am 45yrs old)I am very very nervous as burpees have always taken their toll on my quickly. Yeah I crossfit I cross my fingers and hope my ass fits in my jeans hoodie and T-shirt! My knees are not in the best shape so will most likely be doing step ups vs. box jumps. I am just so nervous, I want to do well, but this has me shaking in my britches.
